HWDSB Virtual Information Session November 11th 2026

 The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) will be hosting a virtual information session focused on Teaching French at HWDSB on Wednesday, November 11, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.

During this session, teacher candidates will have the opportunity to connect with our FSL Consultant, French hiring principals, and Human Resources team to learn more about:

• Working as an FSL educator at HWDSB and the French programs we offer
• Recruitment and hiring tips for aspiring FSL teachers
• Resources, supports, and professional learning opportunities available to FSL educators
• A live Q&A session with members of our team

Registration is required. Interested French teacher candidates can register using the link included in the attached flyer. Registration closes on November 2.

Math Drop In Tutoring

This is a reminder that math drop-in tutoring will continue for the rest of term 1 on the days and times listed below. Please feel free to drop in with questions you have or topics you would like to discuss.

Mondays: October 19/26 and November 2  from 12:30-2:30 in the teaching commons boardroom  

Tuesdays: October 13/20/27 and November 3/10  from 2:30-3:30 in room 019 ( right across from classroom 08)

Wednesdays: October 14/21/28 and November 4/11 from 3:30-4:30 in room 019 ( right across from classroom 08)

Friday: October 16, 11:00-2:00 in the teaching commons boardroom
