Provincial "March Break" Move & Winter Term 2021 Placement Blocks
With the recent provincial announcement to postpone the March Break until the week of April 12th 2021, the Faculty of Education thought it important to advise our 2 Year B.Ed Program students that our upcoming Winter term placement blocks will not be interrupted by this change.
- Year 1 students - Mar 22 - April 30th, 2021
- Year 2 students - Mar 22 - April 27th, 2021
A Note on Placement Confirmation
You received a communication in December about our updated student placement procedures for this term. As per those communications, we are confirming student placements via email for the Winter 2021 semester and will be uploading the details for placements to the student portal as of the beginning of March, 2021.
You will be receiving a message from the Placement Team confirming your individual placement, but we would like to remind you that this is a lengthy process. We ask for your patience as it may take some time for us to be in contact with you regarding your place. As you might already understand, we are attempting to address the important task of placing students according to a priority list as well as information such as geography, available spots and other pertinent information, which understandably is a big task involving many moving parts.
We understand that this is a difficult time and would like to assure all students that we are working tirelessly to place as many students as possible.
We thank you again for your continued patience and understanding in these unusual times and will be in touch as soon it is possible to do so.
