Invitation - Teacher Info Session for HWDSB

HWDSB is hosting a Teacher Information Session on Nov. 23, 2023. This event is a chance for students in any year of their program to learn about our current job opportunities, how to apply, and what to expect during the interview process. We will also have breakout room opportunities to support you on your educator journey including culturally relevant and responsive pedagogy. Light snacks will be provided.

 Education Faculty Student Networking &

Career Fair Library Commons, Heritage Place

Thursday, October 19, 2023

11am - 4:30pm

If you are interested in learning more about opportunities to work in the education sector, this event is for you. Employers from public, private, and not-for-profit educational institutions and school boards will be at Orillia Campus, Heritage Place, in order to share information with you about positions available with their companies.

Some employers will be offering on-the-spot interviews, while others will be sharing information only. Dress to impress, and brush up on your professional networking skills at this Career Fair. Registration is not required for students. This event is open to all. Important Note: Students are not permitted to leave or skip regularly scheduled academic classes on this day to attend this event. Students are encouraged to plan to arrive early, use breaks in their class schedule to visit the booths.
