WCDSB and UGDSB have developed in collaboration with Community Resilience Coalition (formally known as ACEs Coalition) an online learning module for staff called Promoting Mentally Healthy Schools and Resilience: Strategies for Educators.
The module takes about 2.5 hours to complete and those who complete it will be given a Mentally Healthy School Certified Educator Certificate from Community Resilience Coalition. A board email must be used to access the certification.
In the coming months, we will be hosting two opportunities to attend a community of practice jointly between UGDSB and WCDSB to discuss the module and best practices/ ideas etc. For those who attend at least one of these sessions after completing the module, they will get a Mentally Healthy School Champion Certificate from Community Resilience Coalition.
