The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) will be hosting a virtual information session focused on Teaching French at HWDSB on Wednesday, November 11, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
During this session, teacher candidates will have the opportunity to connect with our FSL Consultant, French hiring principals, and Human Resources team to learn more about:
- Working as an FSL educator at HWDSB and the French programs we offer
- Recruitment and hiring tips for aspiring FSL teachers
- Resources, supports, and professional learning opportunities available to FSL educators
- A live Q&A session with members of our team
Registration is required. Interested French teacher candidates can register using the link included in the attached flyer. Registration closes on November 2.
Note - this session is open to all interested French teacher candidates, not just those currently completing placements at HWDSB.
