This email is to advise all B.Ed Professional Program students that the results for the September 7th, 2019 Math Competency Exam are now available in D2L (MyCourselink).
Student Instructions for Viewing Math Exam Results on D2L:
- Sign-in to MyCourselink
- Click on the list of your available course sites
- Select:
- EDUC 0450 YBO (2019Y) - 2 Year B.Ed students
- Select "Grades" from the menu across the top of the page
- Locate Assignment named: "Sept 2019 Math Results"
- You should see either a "P" or an "F"
Be patient. With many accessing D2L at once, you may experience errors.
If you are still experiencing issues today, it may be best to try again on Monday.
If the results show a "P" => You have now satisfied this B.Ed degree requirement.
If results show an "F" => See below for further instruction.
YEAR 1 (of the 2 Year B.Ed Program) Student Instructions:
You must do the following:
- Make an appointment with the Math Exam Coordinator, Sharon Malyczewsky to review your exam, as soon as possible. Sign up sheets are available in the Education Administration Office at Heritage Place
- Arrange to immediately drop your .50 FCE in Education Elective
- Immediately complete the Google Survey that Julie Howell will circulate today. That survey will assist the Faculty of Education in their efforts to get you manually registered in a section of EDUC 3519 (required course for all Year 1 students who were unsuccessful)
- All unsuccessful writers should have this Google survey completed by Monday, Sept 9th, 2019 at 9 am.
- You will receive a system-generated confirmation email once the Faculty of Education has completed the manual registration in a section of EDUC 3519 you have been assigned, by Tuesday, Sept 10th, 2019.
- You are expected to begin attending EDUC 3519 classes the week of Sept 9th, 2019
- Your next attempt of the math exam will take place on: Thurs March 19th, 2020
- Consider taking advantage of planned "Mock Exam" sessions in January and February 2020
- Consider utilizing our Peer Tutoring program
- Consider hiring a private 1x1 tutor
Year 2 (of 2 Year B.Ed Program) Student Instructions:
You must do the following:
- Make an appointment with the Math Exam Coordinator, Sharon Malyczewsky to review your exam, as soon as possible. Sign up sheets are available in the Education Administration Office at Heritage Place
- Your final attempt to satisfy this B.Ed degree program requirement will be on Thurs March 19th, 2020.
- Consider taking advantage of planned "Mock Exam" sessions in January and February 2020
- Consider utilizing our Peer Tutoring program
- Consider hiring a private 1x1 tutor
