Gravenhurst Public Library is putting on a free workshop for Dyslexia Awareness Month that I thought your education students might find helpful, I was hoping you could pass on the following info to students:
Learn About Dyslexia is a free virtual workshop that will take place via Zoom on Oct. 6th from 6-7pm. The workshop is designed for educators and parents to help them identify children who may have dyslexia and give them the tools they need to move forward.
We will have an expert from The International Dyslexia Association speaking about what Dyslexia is, how to identify it, and how to support children who have it. Additionally, Gravenhurst Public Library's Child & Youth Services Librarian will be discussing resources for both teachers and parents.
