Education Exchange Newsletter - January 2026

The January 2026 issue of Education Exchange, the Faculty of Education’s newsletter, is now available. This issue highlights Dr. Gerald Walton’s lecture from the President’s Public Lecture Series, “What’s the Deal with Bullying? Stories from a Target, Scholar, and Educator,” and features announcements of new staff members, student and alumni spotlights, faculty news and awards, and more.

Recruitment for French Teachers beginning in January

Beginning in January, the Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) will be recruiting multiple French Teachers.

They are seeking candidates with FSL qualifications, experience, or a willingness to teach FSL. All applicants will be assessed for French language proficiency. Preference will be given to candidates with FSL qualifications and/or relevant experience.

Allow us to introduce ourselves- we are Aurelia Education, a small organisation made up of Canadian trained teachers who have all lived and taught in England. We've come together to share our expertise and experiences, and to support those interested in having similar experiences abroad. 

Teaching is a career that opens many doors and offers endless opportunities. Our first priority is to help you determine if teaching in England is the right option for you. We want you to confidently rule it in, or confidently rule it out. We have come up with a number of ways to help you learn more and invite you to take part in as many as you'd like.
