UPDATE - How To Request & Pick Up Your Lakehead University Student ID card (during COVID-19)

If you have not yet obtained your LU Student ID Card, please follow the steps below.

If you are a 2 Year B.Ed program student joining the Lakehead University community as a new student this Fall, this message will be important to you.

Obtaining your LU Student ID Card by the start of the Fall term is vital to your eligibility to write the September 2020 sitting of the Math Competency Exam and will be required in the event of a face to face placement within one of our partnership school boards.

If you already possess an LU Student ID Card, this process does not apply to you. Your current Student ID Card is all you need.

Once your ID card is ready, you will be sent an email by the Bookstore.  If you have received an email from them, your card will be available for collection from the Heritage Place Campus Security Office* in Orillia, beginning Wednesday 29th July between 12pm and 4pm. Please email Security (orsecure@lakeheadu.ca) on the day you are coming to pick up your student card.

- Your ID card is a free card that will be with you for your entire journey here at Lakehead. You do not get a new card each semester or year.
- Should you damage (break, wash, holepunch etc.) or lose (or have stolen) your card, there will be a fee for a replacement card.
- If your card stops working (printing services etc.), we will do what we can to fix it, but if we cannot, we will give you a replacement.

Should you have any questions about the Bookstore please don't hesitate to email us; we are here to help. You can also follow us on Facebook (@LUBookstoreOR) and Instagram (@lubookstoreorillia) and here is a link to our website: https://bookstore.lakeheadu.ca/hours--locations
