Maple Leaf Educational Systems-China is a large, educational organization with seven high schools, grade 10-12, and two Foreign Nationals Schools, K-9, teaching BC Curriculum across 7 provinces in China. Our campuses are: Dalian, Wuhan, Tianjin, Zhenjiang, Chongqing, Luoyang, and Shanghai. We presently have over 350 Canadian Teachers at our campuses with new schools planned for 2015/2016.

ALL TEACHERS MUST BECOME BC CERTIFIED ONCE THEY ACCEPT A CONTRACT

MLES-China is in need of qualified, experienced, Secondary School teachers and new, 2015 Teaching Grads with one or more of the following subject areas or a combination of:
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Information Technology/Business
  • English

I/S teachers holding a first or second teachable from the list above may apply.
Please note: Junior/Intermediate and Primary/Junior teachers with an undergraduate, academic subject major in one of these areas will be considered. British Columbia TRB Certified teachers have one certification. “Teacher”. P/J and J/I teachers with an academic BA major in one of the subject areas, as listed above, may teach their subject major up to grade 12.
  • Beginning salary is $45,000 plus a $2,000 completion bonus at the end of the second year of a two-year contract
  • Excellent medical and dental benefits package
  • 7 weeks of paid holiday throughout the school year and 7 weeks during summer
  • 1000 RMB Settling Allowance
  • Paid, upfront, RETURN Airfare annually/Chinese Work Visa is paid
  • Many teachers save approximately $2,000 per month and enjoy travel to Asian Countries
