The Faculty of Education has scheduled "Brush Up" Math Sessions for any interested students, to take place before the next sitting of the compulsory Math Competency Exam on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 at 10:00 am.
- These sessions are ONLY for students who have been working on their math content knowledge. These sessions are designed to give those students who have been working on their math knowledge a chance to practice problem-solving prior to the exam.
- These are not workshops designed to TEACH you math.
- It is not possible for us to teach all the relevant math you will need for the exam in one or two sessions (and you will find these sessions more confusing than helpful).
- However, if you have been working on your math, or feel confident about your math understanding, these sessions will provide you with an opportunity for some extra practice.
WHEN ARE THE "BRUSH UP" SESSIONS?
DATE: Thursday March 8th, 2018
- OH2 & OH8 - 10:30am-12:30pm
- OH4 & OH7 - 2:30pm-4:30pm
DATE: Thursday March 15th, 2018
- OH2 & OH8 - 10:30am-12:30pm
- OH4 & OH7 - 2:30pm-4:30pm
We would ask that any B.Ed student wishing to attend either session, plan to visit the Education Administration Office in Heritage Place, to sign up.
