OCT Scholarships Available

The College is pleased to inform you that three scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded in 2020. Teacher candidates in an Ontario consecutive or concurrent teacher education program who will graduate in 2021 are eligible to apply for the 2020-2021 scholarships. Since 2003, the Ontario College of Teachers has been awarding scholarships that provide financial support to teacher candidates. The Ontario College of Teachers Scholarship Program supports and sustains excellence in the teaching profession by reinforcing high standards and professional competence. It does so by rewarding the achievements and characteristics of individuals who model the values of teaching as a respected, time-honoured and forward-looking profession.We will be sending hard copies of our scholarship brochure to your faculty’s Dean and student aid office to share with students who may be interested in applying. If there is another office or individual at your faculty that should also receive brochures, please let us know.More information about our program and how to apply can be found on the OCT  website. The deadline for applying is Friday, June 26, 2020 at 5 p.m.
