As indicated on the published Professional Program Calendars for 2018-2019, the Faculty of Education will be cancelling all regularly scheduled classes on Wednesday Oct 3rd, 2018 for a mandatory full-day Professional Development event, for all 1 Year B.Ed and YEAR 2 (of 2 Year B.Ed program) students.
All regularly scheduled 1 Year B.Ed and YEAR 2 B.Ed classes that would have been held on Wednesday October 3rd, 2018 will be made up on Wednesday November 7th, 2018.

On Wednesday October 3rd, 2018, the following organizations will be presenting to students who hope to be inline to graduate in June 2019:
- EQAO Education Quality and Accountability
- ETFO Elementary Teachers Federation Ontario
- QECO Qualifications Evaluation Council of Ontario
- OTF Ontario Teachers Federation
- OCT Ontario College of Teachers
- OECTA Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association
These organizations are here to provide insight as to your "next steps" as you look ahead to transitioning from B.Ed graduate to new teacher, in the profession.
There will be a lunch break from 12:25pm - 1:15pm.
We ask that all students return from lunch at 1:15pm promptly, so the agenda can move forward without delay.
